The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. – Colossians 1:15 NIV
Sometimes I wonder what Jesus really looked like. What would His DNA look like if it was examined? Would it be half of Mary’s DNA and half inexplicably divine DNA?
Some things we don’t quite understand about God, but we believe them just the same. Even if we had all the details, we would still believe in Jesus and love Him for saving us.
At times others may question us about our faith, but we have nothing to prove because we can be confident that the Lord will reveal everything to us that we need to know, right at the time we need to know it. Amen.
Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. – John 4:23 NIV
When our hearts are in the right place and we are seeking the truth when it comes to Christianity, sometimes we have to wait on the Lord.
God doesn’t give us more than we can handle, and we can trust that He will reveal to us exactly what we have to know and when.
He doesn’t keep us in the dark. The Lord is a God of light. Amen.
Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” – John 13:7 NIV

The Lord reveals to us just enough knowledge that we need to know at the right time. He doesn’t confuse or overwhelm us with too much information.
Some things we won’t understand when we read God’s Word, but that doesn’t mean that we will never understand them. We can trust that God will explain everything when the time comes. Until then, we can be humble and patient, because what we know is enough. Amen.
If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God and God in him. – 1 John 4:15-16
Jesus is the embodiment of love.
Sometimes we get so caught up in being right that we forget to love. God asks us not to judge. We can confidently leave judgment in His capable hands. We do not need to know or understand everything because He knows everything for us. He reveals to us what we need to know, and we can rest easily because everything is in good hands when Jesus is in control.
Jesus teaches us how to love and how to serve one another. He is the best teacher we could have. Amen.
