If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. – Romans 10:9 NIV
In the past, I tried to live by example, but I very rarely said anything about God to other people unless they specifically asked me.
Declaring that Jesus is our Lord takes courage. Other people might not hold the same beliefs as we do, but what we can do is share how loving Jesus has changed our lives.
Despite all the scientific advancements and medical breakthroughs of today, not a single Nobel prize winner has figured out how to match the salvation that Jesus brings us. Salvation is a gift. We don’t have to try to replicate it; we can simply accept it. Amen.
Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. – Philippians 2:9-11 NIV
We are blessed to know Jesus is our Lord. He has earned His place in Heavenly places. It is a privilege to know Him and to show Him.
To share the gospel with others who don’t yet know Jesus is a gift. They perhaps don’t know how nice it is to be loved by Jesus.
I can’t remember a time when I didn’t believe in Jesus. Luckily I grew up reading the Bible. My parents taught me how to pray, as my husband and I are now teaching my son how to pray.
It’s comforting to know that one day everyone will know Jesus. Amen.
