Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. – 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NKJV
God is love and also models love for us.
The love of God, our spouse, and our children are the most important priorities we can have. Our families can sometimes undergo some strain, especially in difficult and stressful times such as the pandemic.
When we are tempted to say something rude or speak before we think, we can pause and ask ourselves what Jesus would say if He were in our shoes. He went through everything that we go through, and then some, but He didn’t sin. He endured till the end. He gives us strength to get through whatever we are going through.
God loves us beyond compare. Amen.
