Becoming a Christian is a life-changing event, and a joyful one.
I can’t remember a time when I didn’t believe in Jesus. He brings joy and blessings to my life amidst hardships, so I learn from Him and share His love with others the best that I can.
I can’t claim to know everything about God, but He gives me just the right amount of light to see where I should go. I trust that He will always direct me to the right path and steer me away from the wrong one. Amen.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. – 2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV
The Lord can perform miracles. It is very difficult to let go of old thoughts that don’t serve us. God helps us let go. He creates in us a new mind and a new heart.
When things are new, they don’t have the scars of the past. They are fresh and pure.
Jesus is a great healer. He heals us when we get sick, and He comforts us. He promises us that if we love Him and follow His commandments, we will have access to this new life that He has planned for us.
He never meant for us to be stuck in the past. The Lord wants a new future for us. Amen.
Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls. – 1 Peter 1:8-9 NIV
We love Jesus even though we don’t see Him in person every day. It is possible to be best friends with someone who we appreciate and enjoy talking to, even if we can’t see them all the time.
Our friendship and faith in Jesus can give us joy and brighten a dark world. We can feel safe that He is with us always.
Although change can mean that we don’t do what we have been accustomed to doing, we can embrace the change knowing that God is bringing into our lives new opportunities. He is the great Creator. He is creating in us a new heart. His love for us shines through our friendships. His love endures forever. Amen.
