Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. – Jude 1:24-25 KJV
Sometimes we fall, but Jesus lifts us up and can keep us from falling again. He always has our back, and we can rely on Him. If we have a bad day, He makes the next day better.
He doesn’t focus on our faults; He wipes them clean.
He saves us from ourselves and our frustrations.
He is more than worthy of power, majesty, and praise. We can take joy that He is always at our side. Amen.
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. – 2 Corinthians 4:7 NIV
God molds us like clay. We are slowly becoming more like Him as we learn to rely on Him and surrender to the treasure of salvation. He doesn’t ask us to take on more than we can bear.
God’s power surpasses any force that we can imagine. His love for us is immeasurable.
When we try to rely on our own power, we often fall. The Lord can pick us up. We can trust that He will always be there to protect us and our loved ones.
As time passes, things and people change. Change is good. When we allow our minds to be transformed by the Lord, we develop a new perspective. Amen.
Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the Earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. – Psalm 90:2 NIV
I can’t remember a time when I didn’t know that the mountains were here, but Christ existed before God formed the mountains. The creative power of our God is beyond comprehension.
His everlasting love for us is a blessing. We can always count on it.
He is our Savior and redeemer. His power to heal is greater than any physician’s. He can bring comfort to those who are in the hospital.
He can make our love for each other expand across our physical separation.
He can fill our hearts with joy and replace any feelings of isolation with gladness. We can trust in Him completely. Amen.
May you have peace and ease this Christmas season.
