Prayer Journal: Day 247

Day 247

Thou tellest my wanderings: Put thou my tears into thy bottle: Are they not in thy book? – Psalm 56:8 KJV

When we have a cold, it can feel miserable. The Lord knows every tear that we shed. He knows how to comfort us. He is the Great Physician.

The Lord can see everything that goes on. Nothing surprises Him. So when we come to Him with our needs, He has already anticipated them. He can heal us quickly.

Illness passes and is only a temporary discomfort. The Lord wants us to regain our health, because He has important work for us to do. Amen.

Prayer Journal: Day 245

Day 245

‘ “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.” ’ – Numbers 6:24‭-‬26 NIV

The Lord includes us in His blessings. He does not leave us out. He never forgets about us. When His face shines on us, we are uplifted. We can feel His healing presence.

The Lord’s peace is unlike any other. He mends broken relationships. He helps us forgive and love one another. He creates harmony where there is discord. His grace saves us.

We do not need to work hard to earn His love. He chose us and will never leave us or forsake us. He blesses our work, and if we follow Him, we will be successful. When we seek Him first, all the rest will follow. Amen.

Prayer Journal: Day 128

Day 128

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. – Psalm 34:17

Sometimes we just have a bad day, like the one I had yesterday. Maybe we “got up on the wrong side of the bed.” I started the day with brain fog, and drinking caffeine didn’t help matters.

Maybe we prioritized others before ourselves. Maybe we needed to make healthier choices for ourselves.

It’s okay to focus a little more on self care, proper diet, and well-being in order to serve others at a higher level.

The Lord knows our troubles, and He hears us. He listens attentively. He cares about us and wants us to make healthier choices.

Jesus may not have lived a long life on Earth, but He spent many of his days healing. He lived in fulfillment of His divine purpose. Amen.
