Prayer Reflection: Day 25

Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God. – Matthew 5:8 NKJV

To my dismay, I discovered that I had washed a red crayon that had somehow gotten mixed with the laundry.

A little bit of red crayon went a long way once it melted and stained almost everything in the dryer, including one of my husband’s work shirts.

I Googled how to get crayon out of clothes and discovered that if I washed the clothes again after applying dish soap to the spots and running the load on the hottest setting possible along with some stain remover, the red smudges might come out.

To my delight, almost all the stains came out…except for the ones on my husband’s shirt. I had also left out some white towels from the stain-removal load, because the towels were already old and tattered.

When our hearts are pure, they’re spotless, but only Jesus has the solution to get our stains out. He doesn’t have to Google it. Amen.
