Prayer Reflection: Day 22

For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” – Romans 10:13 NKJV

My son loves watching Paw Patrol and any related content on YouTube. One of the catch phrases is, “whenever you’re in trouble, just yelp for help.”

Do we call upon the Lord when we are in trouble or do we resort to our own devices?

Two alarming signals lit up as I was driving my truck back home after dropping off my son at daycare.

All of a sudden, I couldn’t seem to accelerate past 5 miles per hour.

I put on my hazard lights, let a bunch of people pass me, and pulled over. Then I sent my husband a picture of the problem and decided to risk going to Walmart for help.

As soon as I pulled in to talk to the attendant at Walmart’s tire repair, my husband called me back and said I could either go to AutoZone to get the signals read or drive home and wait for him to take care of it.

He came home and checked the truck. It turns out that those lights go on if the diesel cap isn’t on tight enough!

God must have done something in the background, because it wasn’t due to engine failure like I thought. He also blessed me with a husband who knows a lot. Amen.
