Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. – John 15:4 KJV
Here in New Mexico, I have more trees on my property than I have ever had in my life. We even see deer strolling along our back fence sometimes.
Branches that break and fall off the trees have little to no chance of surviving, especially because our drip system is nonfunctional.
How well do we function without God? Not very well. Yet, we still strive to solve our problems by ourselves, as if we didn’t have a mighty God who is just a prayer away. He always answers, and He is never too busy. He is the best counselor and teacher we could have. Amen.
