Prayer Devotional: Day 361

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.” – Malachi 3:10 NKJV

I tithe 10% of my online tech business income each month, and sometimes I wonder whether I will have enough to pay all my bills, but yet God is faithful, and somehow everything works out.

My Mint account sent me a notice today because my credit score went down 13 points because of high credit usage. My credit score is still good, however.

I have recently started to place a lot of grocery orders at Wal-Mart for pickup, which resulted in a higher credit usage than what is typical because normally we shop in-person for groceries, and my husband pays for groceries with his credit card when we do that.

One of my wise friends pointed out that now that I am married, I can stop thinking that my finances are just based on my income, accounts, and savings. My husband and I are a team, and we own property together. We even have a duplex that is an investment property, which is probably something that I would never had done on my own.

The Lord expands our knowledge and also comforts us when we feel out of our comfort zone. He sends friends to give us reassurance when we need it. Amen.
