Prayer Devotional: Day 349

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. – Ephesians 1:17 NIV

God gives us wisdom and clarity, just when we start to think that His truth won’t be revealed to us.

He opens our eyes to a clear path and a new purpose.

My mom suffered two major falls, and it’s no longer safe for her to live by herself alone, so she’s moving in with me.

Although change may seem daunting at first, all things work together for good.

The more we know Jesus, the more we want to become more like Him: patient in adversity and loving those around us, despite the faults that we see in ourselves and others. Loving everyone, regardless of how they treat you, is a skill, and forgiveness takes practice, but the more we focus on Jesus, the better we can handle difficulties.

I took a picture of a quote from one of my mom’s journals to that summarizes the idea nicely.

Each day brings new miracles. Amen.
