Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. – 2 Thessalonians 3:16 NKJV
When a loved one passes away, many times people say, “rest in peace.”
In death, we no longer feel pain, sorrow, or discomfort.
It’s normal to feel down or out of sorts when someone we know passes away.
Accepting the present moment helps us to realize that it is possible to feel peace despite the difficulties of this world. Peace comes in stillness, prayer, and meditation.
We don’t have to achieve accolades, wealth, or an important status to feel God’s peace. We don’t need to compare ourselves to anyone. The Lord knows what we are going through, and He wants us to feel peace always, not just some of the time. A mind focused on Jesus is a peaceful state of mind. Amen.
