Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. – Joshua 1:8 NIV
When I started writing my prayer journal entries, I would read the Bible and reflect on it in the middle of the night if I couldn’t sleep and had too much on my mind. The process would calm my mind enough for me to fall back asleep eventually.
Now, because I typically get a good night’s sleep and turn off all my electric devices around 8pm when I go to bed, I write my prayer devotional entries sometime during the day.
I literally have meditated on the Word both day and night.
I’m grateful that I have kept up with my prayer practice. It has helped me to maintain better mental health during the pandemic. Sometimes God turns unfortunate circumstances into good habits for prosperity and success. Amen.
