Prayer Devotional: Day 145

For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. – 1 Corinthians 12:13 NKJV

God loves everyone. Sometimes we focus on differences between Christian denominations instead of the similarities. Jesus died for all of us, not just for one group of people. His love transcends our different backgrounds, educational levels, and socioeconomic statuses.

The Holy Spirit’s guidance is accessible to anyone. He never says that we need to come back at a later time, or that He is unavailable due to technical difficulties.

I spent several hours this morning troubleshooting via chat with an Internet technician, yet after all the possibilities were exhausted, the Internet was still not working, so I will need to wait for a technician to come in person tomorrow.

Although the experience with my Internet service provider was frustrating, I know that one of the fruits of the Spirit is patience. Sometimes God asks us to wait, and we have to accept that His timing is perfect. He is never late. He is always right on track. Amen.
