Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. – Malachi 3:10 NKJV
The Lord has a way of working things out for us financially. At the beginning of 2021, I never would have thought that I would be moving to Idaho and purchasing a duplex, then moving again in about eight months to another home in New Mexico. Even though at times my budget seemed tight, I made a commitment to tithe 10% of my freelance income. Everything that we own belongs to the Lord, so tithe is simply giving back to God some of what He has given us.
After being a COVID-19 Long Hauler for almost a year, I wasn’t sure how long it would take to recover my health and be able to work, but God was merciful towards me and allowed me to recover in time to begin full-time work at Idaho State University. He even provided good health insurance for me and my family.
Although moving can be stressful, I am grateful for the journey that God has set forth before me. I love and appreciate Him for His goodness and mercy. Amen.
