Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” – Isaiah 30:21 NIV
The Lord directs our paths if we trust Him to lead us.
With all the shuffle of packing boxes and preparing to move again, I can hardly believe that my family and I had moved from Nevada to Idaho in April, and now we are moving again to New Mexico, just eight months later.
On top of that, I have an eye infection, which the doctor said I could have gotten from touching the baby chicks when I visited family members in Nampa, Idaho, this past Sunday. Unlike my husband, I didn’t grow up on a farm, so I didn’t know that bacteria could spread from a chicken to a human. I guess I will pass on filling the chicken coup at our new home in New Mexico with chickens! I grew up in the suburbs of Sacramento, so I don’t know anything about farm life. At least my toddler really enjoyed looking at the baby chicks and didn’t get the infection.
It helps that the Lord shows us exactly where it is best to go and when. Amen.
