For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. – 2 Timothy 1:7 NIV
My little boy is not timid. In fact, even though he is small for his age, he is dominant around other children. My husband and I have gone out of our way to teach our toddler to say “excuse me.” Discipline isn’t something that comes naturally. It is taught, but love comes naturally.
God helps us to share His love boldly, not timidly. When we act out of love, we build good relationships with others. When we follow God’s law, we align ourselves with His purpose for us. There is always a bigger picture that our Heavenly Father can see. Amen.
