To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. – Colossians 1:27 NIV
How blessed we are to have Christ in us, the hope of glory.
I was born on Christmas day, so my parents gave me the middle name Noel. This name is a part of my identity, but I have never really realized its significance. Christ is in me. He is a part of me, so much so that we even share a name.
Christ is in all of us and brings out the best in all of us. When we endure hardships and loss, He comforts us. He teaches us forgiveness and patience.
He is not just a name; He is with us. His miraculous birth and life sustains us. Amen.
This Christmas, I have a gift for you. If you have trouble sleeping because worries keep you up at night, I have compiled the first thirty days of my prayer journal for you to bring you some comfort. May the peace of our Lord be with you! This book is free to download from Amazon for the next three days. Enjoy! http://www.ginanoeldecker.com.
