Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. – Deuteronomy 6:5-7
Our love for the Lord is so immense that it permeates our hearts, souls, and bodies. We can teach our children about God’s love. Our faith and beliefs can be passed down to future generations.
I am lucky to have a husband who is handy. He even figured out how to fix our dishwasher! His father was handy, too. I’m sure my son will be handy as well.
It’s not just traits that we pass down to our children. God’s love is one of the most important things we can instill in our children. His love abounds in our everyday life. Amen.
