The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. – John 1:14
It’s hard to imagine that Jesus, being divine, came down to earth to die for our sins. Why did He have to die? Wasn’t there any other way to atone for our sins that would be less painful for our creator to bear?
He died because He loves us more than life itself. He risked His immortality. The stakes were high. Jesus loves us more than we can even comprehend.
When our thoughts turn to worries of the world, we can easily forget that we have a creator of the universe on our side. Nothing is too hard for God. Amen.
