Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. – Romans 12:12 (NIV)
Sometimes I forget to pray and launch right into worry.
For example, when we received my son’s blood test results back for his food allergies, I worried that he would have nothing to eat. He is allergic to almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, sesame seeds, tuna, egg whites, milk, wheat, peanuts, soy, beef, and pork. What was I going to feed him?
God tells us not to worry about what we eat and what we will wear. He takes care of the birds, so why would He not take care of us?
He has every detail of our lives worked out already. But, we need to constantly communicate with Him to receive His help.
