Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. – Hebrews 13:15
We sometimes complain too much. Complaining makes the Lord angry, as seen in the Old Testament when God punished the children of Israel for complaining in the desert because they didn’t have meat to eat. Couldn’t they be thankful for the mana God gave them? And for delivering them out of slavery?
The same concept applies to your life and mine. There are always things that we could complain about, but God wants us to focus on the good things He has given us.
He wants us to have a thankful heart and to praise Him.
It is a very small price to pay in exchange for what He has given us: breath, life, and an earth to live on.
He provides everything for us if we follow his law and acknowledge Him because He first loved us. He saved us, and we didn’t deserve it. Salvation is a gift.
